The SXT is the third generation of ALEXA from ARRI. This blog concentrates on the wireless capabilities of the SXT Plus. The Plus has electronics for wireless lens functions built in, so motors and cables are all you need to build the camera.

I spent some time at the ARRI booth today talking to Chase Hagen, Phil Vischer and Hendrik Voss about the company’s new products and updates.

ARRI has now started shipping the ALEXA SXT camera, and we were lucky enough to have one in house for a short time. The ALEXA SXT is the latest evolution of the ALEXA camera line, with several new features and the horsepower of the ALEXA 65 camera.

There was a lot to see at ARRI's NAB booth this year. Andy and Megan stopped by to get a closer look at all of their new products including the ALEXA SXT, coming this summer with many new features including six new recording formats and new color management options.
