Thanks to a modular design philosophy influenced by cinematographer feedback, key elements of the Angenieux Optimo Primes can be modified. The iris blades, internal optical element, and rear filter can all be configured to achieve the desired look and bokeh.

Each BLACKWING7 lens is hand-built using a proprietary technique, which allows its optical performance to be uniquely configured and tuned to the owner’s wishes and creative style. This is accomplished through the introduction of controlled distortion during the development and manufacturing processes.

Over the past 80 years, Canon has created one of the world’s largest range of optics. CN-E primes, cinema and servo zooms, Sumire primes, and new Flex Zooms compliment a wide variety of projects, from documentary to multi-cam to narrative. Canon lenses lend beautiful character to any image.

Cooke continues to develop their famous “Cooke look” and /i interface for digital full format cinematography, preserving an iconic aesthetic. The new lighter S8/i line of high-end cinema primes joins an already impressive offering of both spherical and anamorphic optics, as well as Varotal full frame zooms.

With a special coating, the Supreme Prime Radiance lenses enable cinematographers to create beautiful, consistent, and controlled flares, while maintaining contrast and avoiding transmission loss. SPR optics produce stunning blue flares, while otherwise creating images that match well with standard Supreme Primes.
