AbelCine's new Accelerator Program helped Sam launch the latest version of his product, which will be available soon. I spent time in the Creative Solutions booth at NAB 2019 with Greg Smokler talking about SmallHD’s new Cine 7 monitor. This monitor features the familiar 7” form factor you may know from other SmallHD monitors, such as the 702, but adds some great new features including a touchscreen, high maximum brightness (1800 nits) and DCI-P3 color reproduction.

In the Core SWX booth at NAB 2019, I had the chance to speak with Sales Manager Jose Flores about the company’s new NPF Flat Pack Battery, a great solution for keeping a low profile on director’s monitors and external monitors, such as those from SmallHD.

Switching gears over to audio for moment here at NAB 2019, I visited the Sound Devices booth to speak with co-founder Jon Tatooles about their exciting, new Scorpio recorder debuting at the show.
