Another tripod in the flowtech line has arrived from Sachtler. The addition of an option with a 100mm fixing brings the flowtech innovations to a new range of camera systems and productions.

Today I had the chance to check out the new Cartoni Focus 22 fluid head system. This head will fit a wide variety of cameras accommodating payloads from 6.5 to 48.5 lbs.

Today I swung by the Miller booth, where Miller engineer Michael Abelev walked me through the features of their new ArrowX series of tripod heads. Solving one of the age-old issues with fluid heads' counterbalance, the Miller ArrowX series adds an extra half-step of counterbalance, accessible from the front of the tripod head - great for when you need just a "little bit more" (or less) to perfectly balance a camera rig.

One of the big announcements from Cine Gear 2015 was OConnor's new 2560 fluid head. The 2560 replaces the popular 2065, and joins the 2575 and 1030 as top-of-the-line fluid heads for cinema use.
