The Canon C100 and C300 have had One Shot Auto Focus as a factory default feature for some time. As long as users had an auto focus capable lens, auto focus could be activated with one of the assignable buttons.

The consensus was that for $500, this is a feature worth many times its cost, as it expands the universe of the types of shots that can be achieved.
