There is no denying that anamorphic has come back in a big way this year, and it is more accessible than ever. With the increase of anamorphic glass in the market and the 4:3 sensor of the ALEXA Plus 4:3, more filmmakers are able to find an affordable way to get the anamorphic look.

The HDx35 Mark II is an optical adapter manufactured by IB/E Optics that allows you to put B4-mount 2/3" HD lenses onto Super-35 sensor cameras. This enables the use of high-quality, long-range HD zooms with the latest generation of digital cinema cameras. The new Mark II edition has a larger image projection to fully cover the large sensor of the Canon C100/C300/C500 cameras.

The Angenieux 25-250 has been a staple of the movie industry since it's introduction in 1962. Now Angenieux has updated their original design and optimized it for digital cinema cameras. The new 25-250 DP Optimo features a telecentric design that reduces color fringing and focus breathing; additionally, it projects a 30.4mm image circle, easily covering a Super35-sized sensor.

This year at IBC, Zeiss is previewing the newest member of the Compact Zoom family. Joining the award-winning CZ.2 70-200 T2.9 and the CZ.2 28-80 T2.9, the new CZ.2 15-30 T2.9 features a compact and lightweight design at just under 10" long and weighing in at 5.7lbs.

The two Canon Compact Cine Zoom lenses, 15.5mm-47mm and 30mm-105mm, offer high performance with great flexibility. They each cover an extended range in a small, lightweight package.
