Last month we posted about Element Technica's Elements Micron accessories for the Sony F5/F55, and today I got a chance to sit down with another piece from their Elements line, the F5/F55 Powered Studio Riser.
This unit is a combination power distribution riser and lightweight accessory platform. Its main power input is a Lemo 8 connector, which allows 12V and 24V into the power base simultaneously. If you only have a 12V source, don't worry. The power base will generate 24V from the 12V source. This riser is also quite versatile; it's compatible with a number of battery blocks, including the Anton Bauer Cine VCLX and the Juicebox Power Supply.
