The Arri AMIRA is known to be a great looking camera right out of the box but we often get requests to create matching look files for the camera. As you probably know, we make scene files for various cameras including the Sony F5 & F55 to the Canon C100 & C300 cameras. I've created some matching profiles that you can load into the Arri AMIRA or apply in post.

Recently I had the opportunity to test the brand new IBE Optics PLx1.4, which just started shipping this month, out in the field. I chose to test it alongside the PLx2 in a pure run-n-gun situation in various spots around Chicago.

I visited the Panasonic booth at NAB to look at some new products. The first one is the VariCam Extension Unit, a modular system with a recorder and a head that can be separated. This extension unit allows you to send the data from the head back into the recorder and allows you to go up to 5 meters away.
