First, he gave me a closer look at the Shogun, a new seven-inch recorder that allows users to capture ProRes 4K or CinemaDNG Raw over HDMI and 12G-SDI. It can also function as a monitor, with a 1920x1080 resolution, as well as waveform, vectorscope, and focus peaking. Additionally, you can record slow motion up to 120 fps in full HD.
Along with the Shogun, Jeremy showed off the Ninja Star, their incredibly compact ProRes recorder. The first thing to notice about the Ninja Star is how tiny it is - it measures only 3" across and weighs only 100g, making it perfect for DSLR, action cam, or discrete recording applications.
Watch my video above as Jeremy gives a little background on the new accessories and walks through the feature sets.
