NAB 2013: Convergent Design Odyssey7Q

We posted about the Odyssey 7 & 7Q monitor-recorders when they were first announced, and now Convergent Design has been nice enough to let us display them in our booth (#C6013) at NAB this year.

As mentioned previously, both models feature a 7.7" 1280x800 OLED display with image analysis tools including focus assist, waveform (parade), histogram, false color (exposure), vectorscope, zebras and a 1:1 pixel mode. With optional upgrades, the Odyssey7 can record Canon RAW, ARRIRAW, uncompressed video, or compressed video. Convergent Design also just announced that the Odyssey will support 240fps RAW in 2K and 4K video from the Sony FS700. The Odyssey 7Q builds on these features, allowing you to monitor and record four separate streams of HD video or a single stream of 4K material. We're featuring the 7Q in our booth, so watch my video or stop by to get a closer look!
