When I visited Arri's NAB booth, I got a chance to speak with Marc-Shipman Mueller, Product Manager Camera Systems at Arri, about the highly-anticipated ALEXA XT.
He gave a little more detail about the new XR Module that comes standard with the XT cameras and allows in-camera ARRIRAW recording up to 120 fps onto XR Capture Drives. With a special SxS adapter, it's even possible to record ProRes or DNxHD to a single SxS PRO card. Arri is hoping to start shipping in May, so watch the interview to learn a little more about some of the new features of the ALEXA XT.
