NAB '12: Sound Devices PIX 260 and PIX Dock

We stopped by the Sound Devices booth to check out the latest in their line of PIX recorders. The PIX 260 has much the same function as the PIX 240 and PIX 220, but it's designed to fit into a rack.

The PIX 260 features ProRes and DNxHD recording, 32-channels of audio recording over Ethernet, two built in SSD recording slots, and simultaneous recording to up to four eSATA-connected drives.
