We stopped by the OConnor booth to check out their latest products, including their updated 1030D head. The 1030D has an impressive counterbalance system that gives accurate balance at any point of the tilt range. It will also counterbalance down to zero, which is great when working with lighter-weight camera systems.
The 1030D also features a new crank-style counterbalance control and an action brake that unlocks the pan and tilt with a single-handed squeeze. OConnor has been impressing all of us with their accessories, including the OBox mattebox. Now they've won a Black Diamond award for their OFocus DM follow focus, so congratulations to OConnor.
