Overview
The Wooden Camera Unified Baseplate Core Unit (No Dovetails) allows 15mm rods to pass through, front to back, with (2) locking thumbscrews per side. The top dovetail slot features a specialized ARCA Swiss receiver which can attach to Wooden Camera Unified Baseplate Camera Dovetail plates (sold separately), such as the Unified Baseplate Camera Dovetail (Canon C200, C200B, C700).
The bottom of the baseplate features an integrated ARRI-style dovetail slot which attaches to the Unified Baseplate Lower Quick Dovetail (not included) but can also attach directly to any compatible 2060 Dovetail, Safety Dovetail, or Shoulder Rig.
For VCT-14 compatible mounting options, the Unified Baseplate can be attached to the Unified VCT Wedge Plate for easy counterbalancing while on the shoulder. This combination could then be attached to the Unified VCT-14 Tripod Plate and mounted on the tripod head.
NOTE: The Unified Baseplate is backwards compatible with Wooden Camera's original Quick Dovetail (Standard) and Quick Dovetail (DSLR, Large).
