Overview
The Wooden Camera Unified Baseplate Camera Dovetail is a plate which attaches to the base of a Canon C200, C200B, or C700 camera. When combined with the Unified Baseplate Core Unit without dovetail (sold separately), the two plates provide 15mm lightweight rod mounting at the correct height relative to the lens. The slotted design allows multiple included 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screws to be attached to the camera bottom up to 70mm apart (center-to-center), and a non-slip rubber surface prevents the camera from twisting.
The bottom portion of this Unified Camera Dovetail features an ARCA Swiss standard dovetail shape, Wooden Camera's patented serrated dovetail design, and 1/4"-20 female threads for attachment to gimbal mounts or other devices. Additionally, the 15mm vertical rod opening can be combined with the Unified Lens Adapter Support Kit components (sold separately) to securely attach lens mount adapters from Wooden Camera, Metabones, etc. (not included) to a camera body.
