For our latest Staff Spotlight, we're chatting with one of the newer additions to our Rental team in New York: Kalyn Jacobs. By day, she's a Junior Rental Technician, keeping our rental gear clean and functioning to manufacturer specifications. But on her own time, she's been crushing it as a DP, AC, and photographer. In April of last year, AbelCine teamed up with ARRI and Tongal to launch the ARRI Inspiration Challenge. After receiving over 100 submissions, choosing three pitch winners, reviewing wild card entries, and putting together a panel of industry judges, we are excited to announce that the final Challenge projects are now completed! Watch all the pieces below and stay tuned — we'll be announcing the date of the final screening and award ceremony soon.

AbelCine, ARRI, and Tongal are excited to announce a special lineup of judges who will be evaluating each of the ARRI Inspiration Challenge final projects: Sam Levy, Tina Mabry, and Jaron Presant, ASC. The three judges are professionals that represent a range of cinematic experience behind the camera, from narrative features and television, to commercials and music videos.
