NAB is almost here and we’re all gearing up to head out to Vegas. To help kick off the show, we have once again gathered Andy, Jeff, and Megan in our Chicago Learning Point to discuss industry trends and what they’re excited about at NAB 2017. Some key themes they touched on include HDR, VR / 360º video, live streaming, large sensor cameras, optics, lighting, and connected devices.

You may remember our previous blog post about the release of the Titan HD Extract option for Convergent Design's Apollo and Odyssey monitor/recorders. Titan allows multiple HD-resolution windows to be captured as distinctly framed shots from a single camera shooting in UHD 4K (3840x2160).

The Select 30 LED System is both a variable color temperature and multi-color light fixture that is housed in the familiar Kino Flo form factor. The wireless LED-150X DMX controller is the command center for the system and is modular in design.

For director and DP Alexander Hankoff, his short film Yellow was something he knew he wanted to make and it was his (along with his team's) creativity that made it possible.
