Litepanels has gone beyond their familiar bi-color models for this 2x1 LED source with three color modes that allow for very fine control. In the CCT mode, the light has selectable color temperature, ranging from 2700K to 6000K with an excellent CRI of 97 and 99 at 5600K and 3200K, respectively. In addition, Litepanels has added a hue, saturation, and intensity mode, or HSI, which allows for full RGB control and dimming from 0.1% to 100%.
The Gemini can fit into many workflows with the ability to digitally gel, DMX control (wired, wireless, or Bluetooth), and daisy-chain the light using a master/slave configuration. All of these features are packed into a lightweight 22-pound housing that maintains a battery operable power draw (using a 3-pin XLR input), or in through standard 12 volt power off of a regular Edison socket, which plugs directly into head due to the ballast-free design.
