The Hornet 200-C produces a tremendous amount of light in a compact and flexible instrument. The 200-C pulls 150W of power and produces the equivalent of 650-1000W incandescent lamp. The unique seven-color LED chip permits the lamp to be adjusted to a custom color or to match existing lights, and has the widest gamut of any Hive light.
The 200-C is the same diameter as the 100-C and 50-C, so each light is compatible with the same mount and modifier options. Speaking of modifiers, the C-series is compatible with a wide range, such as a fresnel lens, par spot, ellipsoidal (Leko) attchment, plus modifiers from Profoto, Chimera, etc.
The lamp also incorporates a number of special effects. All FX modes can be accessed and controlled from the lamp menu, and can also be accessed on the free Hive SHOT iOS app. While the FX modes in the Hive SHOT app require additional in-app purchases, all other light controls can be accessed on Hive SHOT for free.
