Canon's latest firmware for the C300 Mark II, version 1.1.0.1.00, adds support for additional EF and EF-S lenses. Even more importantly, it also adds support for the LM-V1 Monitor that was originally introduced with the EOS C200.
The LM-V1 touch screen monitor can add additional functionality to the C300 MK II, especially when used with the camera's Dual Pixel CMOS AF features. It also includes assignable buttons and access to key camera functions.
In this video, I discuss the details of the entire firmware update with particular focus on using the LM-V1 monitor (and the MA-400 audio unit), with the C300MK II.
