NAB 2018: Sigma Cinema Primes

In this video, I take a closer look at Sigma's line of full format cine lenses, based on designs from their popular Art series of still photography lenses.

Sigma's cine lenses have been well received by the community, featuring fast T1.5 maximum apertures (except for the 14mm and 135mm which are T2), 43.3mm image circles, common 95mm front outer diameters, and newly available "fully luminous" barrel markings to make focus pulling in dark environments quicker and easier. Accessible and affordable, the Sigmas provide a great option for owner-operators who'd like to invest in a set of lenses that will cover both their full format and Super 35 cameras while not compromising on image quality. These lenses feature great mount flexibility as well with versions available in ARRI PL, Canon EF and Sony E mounts.

Watch the video above for more details and be sure to swing by one of our showrooms after the show to check these lenses out in person!
