Join Matt Allard from Newsshooter to hear all about the new Cforce Mini RF Motor from ARRI. The ARRI Cforce Mini RF motor for wireless focus, iris and zoom control integrates its own MDR-like capability directly inside the motor itself.
Requiring only a power cable, these new motors can pass power and control signals to additional standard Cforce Mini motors (up to three motors total) by daisy-chaining via ARRI's L-Bus protocol. On an ALEXA MINI, for example, this would leave the L-Bus connector adjacent to the camera's lens mount free to enable other accessories. And on cameras which don't have L-Bus, such as AMIRA (or any camera system, really), they'll be able to utilize a simple closed-loop system with the same facility and precision ALEXA MINI owners have enjoyed for years.
