Sony Senior Product Manager Gary Mandle was nice enough to give us a quick walkthrough of some of the newest monitor offerings in the Sony booth this year.
The PVM-A250, a new member of the Trimaster series, is a 25" monitor designed to be both lighter and thinner than previous OLED models. It also features two 3G HD-SDI inputs, an S-Log2 to 709 LUT, as well as a built-in handle on the back for maximum portability.
Also on display was a 30" 10-bit, 4096 x 2160 resolution 4K OLED panel. Though no pricing has been set yet, Gary did hint that we could expect a true production model to be ready sometime this year.
