NAB 2014: Freefly Systems MoVI M15 & Accessories

Freefly Systems has unveiled the newest MōVI system, the M15. In addition to supporting camera packages up to 15 pounds, the M15's larger sled permits you to use longer camera bodies like the Sony F5/F55 and Arri ALEXA M, or longer lenses on a myriad of camera bodies.

Additionally, Freefly has also announced the new MōVI Controller, a purpose-built controller that not only allows you to control pan & tilt, but also focus, iris, and zoom; it also gives you access to most of the configuration settings. There's also the new MōVI Ring and Toad in the Hole quick-release accessory, adding to an already powerful arsenal. I got a chance to speak with Tabb Firchau, and he gave me a great overview of the M15 and the new accessories - watch the video above to learn more.

Stay tuned for even more details, and make sure to check out our upcoming MōVI Intensive Workshops on both coasts.
