One of Blackmagic's announcements at NAB this year aims to bring Raw recording down to pint size. Their new Pocket Cinema Camera features a tiny body that houses a 16mm-size sensor, and can easily accomodate MFT, PL, and C-mount lenses.
Additionally, it boasts 13-stops of dynamic range, recording onto SD cards in ProRes 422HQ and lossless CinemaDNG RAW. Blackmagic has also included a few great features including a headphone jack for audio monitoring, a micro HDMI connector for an external video monitor, and a LANC jack for remote operation. Handheld shooting will obviously be challenging due to its small form factor, but its size makes it ideal for POV shooting and various mobile mounting applications.
