Teased at the C300 launch back in November, the Canon EOS-1D C is a 4K (4096x2160) capable HDSLR that can also shoot full HD (1920x1080).
Similar in size to the Canon EOS-1D X, the 1D C is a full frame camera (24mm x 36mm) that shoots 4K (4:2:2) up to 24 fps using an APS-H size section of the sensor. While shooting full HD (4:2:0), you can choose between the full frame sensor or a S35-sized portion of the sensor. I was able to stop by the Canon booth to get some hands-on time with the EOS-1D C, and we'll be sure to spend some more time with the camera soon.
