ARRI CSS (Camera Stabilizer Systems)
In this video, Geoff chats with newly-minted ARRI CSS representative Alan Lennox as he takes us through ARRI’s range of stabilization products built around their powerful MAXIMA gimbal.
ARRI Lighting
Geoff stopped by the ARRI Lighting booth and spent some time with Technical Sales Rep. Andre Beckford who showed him ARRI’s new SkyPanel Remote, as well as some of the cool features enabled in the recent firmware update for their popular SkyPanel fixtures.
Canon
Over at the Canon booth, Geoff spoke with Jesse Mineo, who took us through Canon’s new C200 Cinema EOS camera body as well as the new 70-200mm Compact Servo lens.
Litepanels
At the Vitec booth, Megan spoke with Territory Manager Jon Walsh about the recently-launched Gemini from Litepanels. Watch as Jon gives a quick overview and demos some of the interesting features of this new LED.
Shape
Nico from Shape showed off a new cage for the Canon C200 as well as their new multi-axis Push Button Magic Arm, an exciting new take on the ubiquitous holding arm utilizing a minature version of Shape's well-loved spring-loaded locking technology.
Sony
Jeff stopped by Sony's booth, where they were displaying the brand new VENICE. He got a chance to speak with Account Manager Megan Walton for a sneak peek at what Sony's planning for the VENICE roadmap.
Teradek
Geoff got a chance to talk to Teradek representative (and native Chicagoan!) Gary Adcock who gave us the low-down on their new ServPro WiFi-based wireless video monitoring solution. This is a killer way to distribute live video throughout a set directly to iOS phones and tablets — including the ability to add LUTs!
ZEISS
Over at the ZEISS booth, Megan was able to get a mini tour, courtesy of Snehal Patel. He showed off the popular CP.3 lenses and highlights the metadata workflow with LiveGrade and DaVinci Resolve. We also took a look at the full-frame 15-30mm CZ.2 Compact Zoom, as well as the 21-100mm Lightweight Zoom LWZ.3 lens.
