Modular, customizable options for in-camera effects and unique character

Angenieux’s Optimo Primes are full format (aka full frame) lenses with a unique, modular design philosophy based on cinematographer feedback. They are modern high-resolution lenses, with high-contrast and uniform colorimetry, which can be customized to suit a specific project or sequence. Their iris blade, internal optical element, and rear filter can all be configured to achieve the desired look and bokeh.

  • 46.3mm image circle covers up to full-frame sensors

  • Color-matched with Angenieux Optimo zoom lenses
  • Configurable iris: a replaceable iris blade unit offers user-configurable bokeh effects, including elliptical and other effects
  • Wide focus throw: precise and ergonomic focus ring with wide 320° rotation
