Attendees will get a chance to go hands-on with the lenses, try them out on various camera systems, and have their questions answered by manufacturer representatives and AbelCine specialists. This is an all day demo, feel free to stop by at any time between 11am-3pm.
Light snacks and pastries from our friends at Colson Patisserie will also be provided.
Zeiss's LWZ.3 21-100 Lightweight Zoom offers superior performance in any imaginable production situation. A sophisticated lens design results in a tremendously lightweight form factor that does not sacrifice outstanding Zeiss optical performance. The focal length range between 21mm and 100mm offers a wide scope for choosing the perfect angle. Even at 21mm the image has extremely low distortion, is free of vignetting, and the MTF curves confirm sharpness from edge to edge. A rugged, splash-proof housing provides freedom even in ambitious shooting conditions, both indoors and outdoors. The completely light weight and resilient design is ideal for drone, gimbal, and Steadicam applications.
The Zeiss CP.3 XD lenses exhibit the clean, crisp characteristics ZEISS is known for, together with an interchangeable mount system and full-frame coverage. These lenses feature innovative and ground-breaking lens data technology to speed-up and simplify the workflow on set and in post-production. CP.3 lenses also record accurate metadata. The ZEISS eXtended Data is a unique technology which is based on the /i Technology which provides information about the lens' distortion and shading characteristics in real time. The lens will communicate this intelligent data to compatible cameras without the use of additional accessories and high knowledge of complex programs.
