Open to professionals, technicians, production and crew alike, this showcase demonstrates the latest technological features within virtual production in an immersive production setting at the renowned XR Studios, Los Angeles.
SMPTE will walk you through a series of environments and supporting acts performed by alumni students of the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Arts, that will highlight useful applications and effects to enhance your production and how to capture realism on-set. Expect a colorful display of dramatic and movement scenes.
Throughout the showcase we’ll be touching on: on-set actor performance, lighting effects, camera tracking, SMPTE 2110, color calibration, extended bit depth, and Unreal Engine 5.
SMPTE is thrilled to be hosting the showcase in a studio setting, so join us as we celebrate the union of technical and creative talents. There will be plenty of opportunities to network with those who were instrumental in the making of this one-of-a-kind event.
