Overview
Many of today’s latest cameras offer Log & Raw recording modes, giving extended dynamic range and versatility in post. However, shooting in Log & Raw presents many challenges both in the field and in the post-production process. This class is an introduction to Log & Raw recording and its applications. You will be presented with technical and aesthetic implications of shooting in different Log & Raw modes, and discussions will be part theory and part practical application. We will discuss different camera formats, demonstrate methods for exposing, and explore post production tools used to give the best results.
