Do you want to succeed in the industry that demands better image quality at faster turnaround times than ever before? This class was created to focus on Colorists specializing in the color grading of scripted content for major streaming providers such as HBO Max, Disney+, Apple+, Netflix, Amazon, or Hulu. We will cover how to best setup your grading room, even if it happens to be at home, as well as best practices for dealing remotely with the client, delivery, and conform. With an increased demand for episodic TV finishing, we are on the mission to give you the most relevant training and prepare you for work as a remote Colorist. This training is based on Dado Valentic’s Feature Film Masterclass which has launched the careers of hundreds of colorists in the past. With this new edition, we are continuing our commitment to the industry in the hopes of seeing you succeed as well!
This course is taught using DaVinci Resolve 17.

Assignment 4: Dolby Trim
Here’s how it works: Students will receive a PDF with the course info a few days prior to the class. After each day’s 2-hour training session, you will be given assignments to complete prior to the next day’s class. A few hours after the course runs, that day’s recorded session will be available to stream so that you can re-watch the lesson to aid in completing your daily assignment. These videos will be available to stream for 20 days after the course ends. You will be sent a link to join a private Discord Group where you will collaborate online with Dado and your fellow classmates throughout the run of the course. All attendees will be given practice media, LUTs, and Look Designer Plugins. We will be using Davinci Resolve 17 but it is possible to complete the class using Davinci Resolve 16.
