Save the date and join us for Gear Up with RED in LA on August 21!
On Wednesday, August 21, we're inviting you to join us for an evening with special guest cinematographer Alexander D. Paul. Alexander will discuss his experiences shooting with RED DSMC2 cameras on Netflix's Street Food: Asia. You'll get to see some footage and there'll be lots of time for audience questions as well.
Additionally, our showroom will be set up so you can get a closer look at some of the newest accessories for RED DSMC2 cameras. Gear will be highlighted that will help you get the most out of your RED, no matter what type of project you're working on. You'll also have the chance to get your questions answered by technical specialists from RED and other manufacturers.

Award-winning cinematographer Alexander D. Paul has worked on numerous popular television shows and movies. Most recently, Alexander has served as Director of Photography for Netflix’s highly acclaimed first season of, Street Food: Asia.
Originally from New London, CT, Alexander graduated from Emerson College with a Bachelor's Degree in media studies and then moved to Los Angeles where he began working as a local 600 camera assistant. He has worked under the guidance of cinematographers such as Academy Award winner David Stump, Emmy Nominated cinematographer Will Basanta, as well as former President of the American Society of Cinematographers Michael Goi.
Alexander utilizes a wide range of processes and techniques to create rich and meaningful imagery. From commercials to documentaries, half hour comedy or experimental short, Alexander has always approached his art form with both monastic discipline and comic touch.
