Overview
Filmscape Chicago is a cinema and television production expo that focuses on community building, providing two days of completely free education for technicians, film students, and filmmakers. This year the expo will be held virtually from August 29-30, with free classes held before and during the show.
On Thursday, August 27, AbelCine will be presenting a virtual Advanced Assistant Camera: Wireless Solutions Workshop to Filmscape registrants. This workshop will take an advanced look into the various wireless components found on set, from remote focus units, wireless video, and available accessories to expand their capabilities. We'll look at programming lens files into wireless hand units and building the camera with receivers and motors, and camera control capability. For wireless video, we'll dig into pairing / radio channel compatibility, updating firmware, and proper signal routing. This class will teach you everything you need to know about using wireless equipment on set, from the set-up, all the way through troubleshooting common issues.
Topics include:
- Wireless Focus
