Overview
This course approaches the role of the 2nd AC from a professional production point of view and defines that role. This course will equip you with on-set tips and tricks of the trade. You will have the opportunity to build a complete camera system using all of the gear found on set today. You will also learn how to interchange components quickly and with precision. Through practical exercises including lens handling, equipment terms, data wrangling, slating, and trouble shooting common issues, you will leave this class with the skills you need to perform the role of the 2nd AC on a professional set.
