Overview
The ARRI Frameglow Mask - 4:3 & 16:9, Spherical is designed for ALEXA Studio, ALEXA XT Studio, or ALEXA SXT Studio in 4:3 or 16:9 mode with spherical lenses. Includes framelines for 1.78:1 and 2.39:1 (flat), and stubs for 1.33:1 inside 1.78:1.
The physical frames of ALEXA Classic Studio, ALEXA Classic Studio with XR Module upgrade, ALEXA XT Studio or ALEXA SXT Studio ground glass and frameglow masks are the same as those used in ARRICAM film cameras. However, actual frameline dimensions are different, so be sure to use current ARRI-recommended ground glass for precise alignment of framelines and captured pixels. As 1.85:1 markings are very close to 1.78:1 markings, ARRI has omitted 1.85:1 marking from all ground glass and frameglow masks.
