Hive Wasp 100-C LED Spot

The Wasp 100-C™ LED Spot combines brilliant and energy-efficient LED lights with Hive Lighting's Perfect S.H.O.T.™ system and a 100% dimmable output. It is a simple product built for real production scenarios, which weighs only 5 lb (2.3 kg). This unique fixture accepts a variety of accessories and smart controls will change the way you experience lighting.

With the Wasp 100-C™, you can:

Play with Color - full hue and saturation controls give you the ability to create an immersive lighting experience with infinite color combinations with 5-chip Color Blending (red, amber, lime, cyan, sapphire)

Adjust Color Temperature – ranges from 1650K to 8000K

Leverage White Light Controls - you can easily adjust lighting from warm candle light to cool daylight to support productions in any location or at any time of day. Hive's Perfect S.H.O.T. system blends a dense array of Red, Amber, Lime, Cyan, and Sapphire LEDs to create brilliant white light and infinite color combinations.

Accessorize - Hive's light has a 180-degree spread and is compatible with the accessories to shape light any way you want. Use light modifying accessories to customize your lighting for different on-screen talent, subjects and locations. Create a theatrical spot light or a soft beauty light, a lantern light or a powerful flood.

Utilize Control Options - control the saturation (0-100%), hue, and color of the light through professional DMX boards, a simple interface on the light itself, or via your smartphone app.

22° Spot Parabolic Reflector / Lenses / Barn Door

You can modify the included 22° Spot Parabolic Reflector with the set of (3) included lenses in Medium, Wide, and Super Wide. The barn door ears fit all 5" (127mm) accessories. Remove the 22° Spot Parabolic Reflector to create the Bee 100-C, a 180° flood light with a 4" (100mm) diameter that accepts all ProFoto and Bowens accessories, as well as both 4-point and 8-point ProFoto-To-Chimera speed ring adapters.

The Wasp 100-C™ is the first LED with the color quality of a plasma. With up to 98CRI and 97 TLCI, Hive's first LED fixture uses a proprietary algorithm to combine 5 different color LEDs into brilliant white light and infinite color combinations. 

Starting with the single primary color Red, Hive uses a combination of secondary and tertiary colors (Amber, Lime, Cyan, and Sapphire), to create a more complete and even spectrum. Traditional color changing LEDs use only (3) colors to create white light. Hive's system offers far higher color quality and far greater control through the white light range than any Bi-Color or RGB LED. There is also virtually no loss of Output or CRI from Tungsten (3200K) to Daylight (5600K).

FREE Hive SHOT App

Hive Lighting's SHOT App, which is free on the Apple Store, allows you to adjust the Saturation, Hue, Output, and color Temperature of the Wasp 100-C™ to create the perfect lighting for any shot. You can assign scenes with programmed color saved to the Wasp 100-C™ lights themselves or in the SHOT App's memory, make fine adjustments, or quickly change from daylight to candlelight.

Hive SHOT gives you complete control over Wasp 100-C™ lights remotely via bluetooth. Up to 8 Wasp 100-C™ lights can be controlled individually, or grouped together to create limitless lighting possibilities. It's easy to control the saturation, hue and color temperature of the light via the Hive SHOT App.
