The Hive Lighting Hornet 200-C Adjustable Fresnel Omni-Color LED Light weighs just 2.6 lb and is only 9" long in basic configuration, offering a color temperature range from 1650-8000°K. This 150W Omni-Color LED is brighter than a 1000W incandescent and 2.5x brighter than the original Wasp 100-C. As of launch, this lighting fixture is the brightest single point source color changing LED on the market. It also provides a wide color gamut.

The Adjustable Fresnel attachment fits on the front of the Hornet and gives users control over the beam angle, from a full flood to tight spot. The Fresnel can be used with the included 5" barndoors, a separate HDP lens set (not included), or any standard 5" speed ring (sold separately).

Hornet 200-C features Hive's Perfect S.H.O.T. system and omni-color LED technology for complete control over a full spectrum of light.

With S.H.O.T. you can adjust:

Hornet 200-C will run on battery or universal AC power so you can adjust to the varying light situations you find on location or in studio. With S.H.O.T. controls you can create millions of color combinations. Access these controls either on your light fixture or using the Free Hive app for Android or remotely via DMX. A removable antenna for wireless DMX control is included on the rear of the light fixture, along with a menu display and connectors.

Optional Accessories

Due to the same size body as many other Hive Lighting fixtures, the Hive Hornet 200-C with its 100mm diameter will accept all Profoto Accessories and Adapters, plus a variety of other third-party light modifiers. The Super Spot Reflector increases output and allows you to mount 9.5" accessories such as speed rings, barn doors, and light lenses.

With an expanded LED Array, the Hive Hornet 200-C not only offers increased light output, it also delivers the widest color gamut of any Hive light to date. The new 7 Color Chip includes: Cyan, Blue, Sapphire, Red, Amber, Lime, and Green.

22° Spot Parabolic Reflector / Lenses / Barn Door

You can modify the included 22° Spot Parabolic Reflector with the set of (3) included lenses in Medium, Wide, and Super Wide. The barn door ears fit all 5" (127mm) accessories. Remove the 22° Spot Parabolic Reflector to create the Bee 100-C, a 180° flood light with a 4" (100mm) diameter that accepts all ProFoto and Bowens accessories, as well as both 4-point and 8-point ProFoto-To-Chimera speed ring adapters.

The Wasp 100-C is the first LED with the color quality of a plasma. With up to 98 CRI and 97 TLCI, Hive's first LED fixture uses a proprietary algorithm to combine 5 different color LEDs into brilliant white light and infinite color combinations.

Starting with the single primary color Red, Hive uses a combination of secondary and tertiary colors (Amber, Lime, Cyan, and Sapphire), to create a more complete and even spectrum. Traditional color changing LEDs use only (3) colors to create white light. Hive's system offers far higher color quality and far greater control through the white light range than any Bi-Color or RGB LED. There is also virtually no loss of Output or CRI from Tungsten (3200K) to Daylight (5600K).

The Hive Lighting Bee 50-C Omni-Color LED Light is the smallest in the Hive Lighting LED family at only 1.5 lb and 5" long. It uses 40W of power to produce light output that is comparable to a 300W incandescent light. With multiple mount points on its 5" body, this light is ideal for rigging in tight spaces for highlights, as a practical light, or on set or location where you need an adjustable light source.

Omni-Color Technology

This Hive Lighting LED features both secondary and tertiary color LEDs in Red, Amber, Lime, Cyan, and Saphire. This 5 Color Chip combination produces a complete and even spectrum of color when compared to the more traditional RGBW. A proprietary algorithm combines the varied colors into a brilliant, white-balanced light with CRI 98, plus millions of saturated color combinations for you to select. While traditional color changing LEDs use only (3) base colors or (2) "white" LEDs, the Hive LEDs offer a total of (5) for higher color quality and far greater control than competing Bi-Color or RGB LEDs.

Optional Accessories

The 22° Spot Parabolic Reflector on the Bee 50-C can be modified with an optional 5" 3-Lens Set (Medium, Wide, Super Wide). The barn door ears on this light fixture will accept your 5" (127mm) accessories, including your third-party barn doors. The light will also accept speed rings.

Remove the 22 Degree Spot Parabolic Reflector and you can transform your Bee 50-C into a 180 Degree Flood with a 4" (100mm) diameter that will accept all Profoto Accessories and Adapters, plus a variety of other third-party light modifiers.

Hive Lighting's SHOT App allows you to adjust the Saturation, Hue, Output, and color Temperature of the Bee 50-C to create the perfect lighting for any shot. You can assign scenes with programmed color saved to the Bee 50-C lights themselves or in the SHOT App's memory, make fine adjustments, or quickly change from daylight to candlelight.

Hive SHOT provides you complete control over Bee 50-C lights remotely via bluetooth. Up to (8) Hive LED lights can be controlled individually, or grouped together to create limitless lighting possibilities.
