The Matthews Medium Duty Kit Stand is designed for use with lights. It comes in black and extends from a mimimum height of 30" up to a maximum height of 92.5" (approximately 7.7 feet). It takes up a footprint of only 32" and features a tripod of sturdy legs with three levels of height possible.
This light stand includes a brake system to permit you to lock off riser tubes instead of pinch castings. That allows the stand to accept heavier weighted lights and accessories. This Medium Duty Kit Stand will carry a payload capacity of 20 lb (9 kg). The stand itself weighs only 3.5 lb and compacts to a length of only 31" so traveling to location or set with your gear isn't as burdensome.
