Sony’s G Master lenses combine high resolution and a creamy bokeh. This telephoto Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 G Master Zoom lens offers a constant f/2.8 with fast AF and good rendering in a full frame format, while a built-in Optical SteadyShot delivers image stabilization. The 11-blade aperture creates creamy bokeh while the Nano AR Coating eliminates flare and ghosting.
The dust and moisture-resistant design of the G Master 70-200mm f/2.8 lens features a focus hold button, a shake compensation mode, and a focus range limiter. It is also fast AF optimized to capture both video and stills with autofocus options. Advanced double-linear and ring SSM (Super Sonic wave Motor) actuators provide precision and power.
An Extreme Aspherical (XA) element with 0.01 micron surface precision contributes to high res and bokeh.
Four ED and two Super ED glass elements suppress chromatic aberration for maximum resolution and natural color at all focal lengths. All without bleeding.
With a minimum focus distance of 3.15 feet (for up to 0.25x magnification), this heavy telephoto conveys that up-close, in-the-moment mood you desire. A floating focus mechanism minimizes distortion and aberration which normally limit close-up performance.
The E-Mount on this lens fits Full Frame and APS-C cameras.
