ARRI OCU-1 Operator Control Unit Basic Set

The ARRI OCU-1 Operator Control Unit is an addition to the WCU-4 lens control system, enabling operators to override and return focus, iris, or zoom controls at the touch of a button. This device will help the user save precious time while framing shots, as the camera operator retains the ability to control the lens at all times, even when motors are attached. The override function enables the operator to make adjustments when critical focus is slightly off, and gives the focus puller an override indication on the WCU-4.

The OCU-1 is a simple, low-cost version of the ARRI Master Grip Wheel, with an identical control wheel, display, and LBUS integration in a convenient form factor that improves on-set efficiency and control. Subsequently, the Override function will be available for Master Grips as well. The device also enables control of EF lenses mounted on ARRI ALEXA Mini and AMIRA cameras without the need for external motors.

The OCU-1 is small, lightweight, and easy to use, with flexible mounting options to easily mount the device on common 15mm or 19mm rods with the purchase of an optional CLM-5/cforce mini Clamp Console 19/15mm (K2.0006176), ARRI Rosette with optional bracket (K2.0020003), or natively to male 3/8"-16 threads. The wheel can also be used to control the roll axis of the SRH-3 ARRI Stabilized Remote Head (not included).
