ARRI Knowledge Base: Electronic Control System

One of the main benefits of using ARRI's Electronic Control System on set is that it frees the Camera Assistant from various tasks that may have meant lots of record keeping and reports – the ECS system records vital information directly into each file recorded by an ARRI camera.

In this Knowledge Base video, I take a closer look at each component of the system, with a particular focus on the handling of lens and camera metadata. I also walk through a practical on set example so you can see how the system works in a real-world situation.
