Canon Control Ring Mount Adapter EF-EOS R

The Canon Control Ring Mount Adapter EF-EOS R adds a control ring, like the ones found on your RF Lenses, to provide an element of manual control of your EF and EF-S lenses when you are using your Canon EOS R Mirrorless Camera. This mount adapter supports the same setting configuration, regardless of lens.

The Control Ring Mount Adapter allows a more intuitive control of your EF and EF-S lens. Instead of adjusting settings on the Canon EOS R Mirrorless Camera with a button or dial on the compact body, you will be able to make fast adjustments via the continuously rotating Control Ring Mount Adapter. This device is clicked-stop ring you can rotate either clockwise or counter-clockwise. While you might expect this to replace a ring on your lens, the Control Ring attaches to your manual focus ring. Clicks provide a tactile feedback when performing manual focus tasks yet the number of clicks within a full rotation of the ring will vary, depending on the lens you pair with it.
