The Tiffen CC20B Blue Filter - 4 x 5.65 is a color correction filter, often used to change the color balance of a scene by reducing overall yellow color tone. This filter results in an (approximate) 0.6 stop reduction in light transmission. This filter is also typically used for color correction in the darkroom, or for print color pre-visualization.
Tiffen filters are crafted with ColorCore technology, where the filter substrate is laminated between two pieces of optical glass, ground flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000 inch.
