The Formatt-Hitech Firecrest IRND 1.5 Filter - 58mm features a rare earth mineral coating (rather than dyed resin) that is applied directly to the glass through an electrolytic process, yielding extreme neutral density. Each Firecrest filter is made from 4mm thickness Schott Superwite glass, and the multi-coating is bonded in the middle to increase scratch resistance and longevity. Firecrest Filters are neutral across all spectrums, including UV, visible, and infrared. These circular ND filters feature stackable 5.5mm SuperSlim rings.
