Codex Media Bundle - 3x 1TB & 1x Codex Compact Drive Reader (USB-C)

The Codex Media Bundle combines everything you need get started with a new camera setup. It consists of three 1TB Compact Drives in their individual protective case and a USB-C Compact Drive Reader. Three drives is a good basic kit, as it allows you to shoot on the first drive with the second ready and waiting to be loaded while the third drive is being offloaded. The USB-C Reader is a versatile unit as it can connect to most workstations and offers fair transfer speed.

The ARRI Codex Compact Drive Reader (USB-C) is a single-slot reader for accessing Codex Compact Drives via macOS, Windows, or Linux. Its USB 3.1 Gen 2 interface is fully backwards compatible, and the reader is bus-powered via a USB-C connector (compatible with Thunderbolt 3).

Each ARRI Codex Compact Drive - 1TB houses a single industral SSD (without RAID) in a compact, rugged aluminum casing. The drive's 960GB usable capacity is available for ARRIRAW and ProRes recording, and is formatted in UDF by the ARRI ALEXA Mini LF or ALEXA 35 Cameras for use with ARRIRAW and ProRes on the same media without needing to reformat or change drives.
