The Panasonic DMW-RS2 LUMIX S Series Wired Camera Shutter Remote solves the problem of unwanted motion caused by pressing the shutter button, while shooting on a tripod. This accessory makes it easy to shoot bursts or hold the shutter open for extended periods of time. A Record Start/Stop button is also provided for videography*.

*NOTE: The video Start/Stop button feature can be used for the following compatible digital cameras: DC-S1R & DC-S1 (as of February 1, 2019); DC-GH5S, DC-G9, and DC-GH5 with camera firmware updated to the latest version. It may not be possible to use this feature for Panasonic digital cameras equipped with a remote socket sold in or before January 2019.
