Sony NPA-MQZ1K Multi Battery Adapter Kit

The Sony NPA-MQZ1K Multi Battery Adapter Kit can load up to (4) Sony NP-FZ100 Z-Series Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Batteries (2 included) and supports extended shooting. It can connect and supply power to a camera that uses either an NP-FZ100 Z-series or NP-FW50 W-series¹ battery (by removing the cover for Z-series battery compatible cameras, the "dummy battery" power plate fits cameras compatible with a W-series battery).

This battery adapter can quickly charge up to (4) NP-FZ100 Z-series batteries² via AC adapter within about 480 minutes³. Power charge condition is indicated in a 3-level LED when the "remaining battery power" check button is pressed.

NOTE: If you remove the battery protector and put battery port covers into place, the Multi Battery Adapter converts into a smaller, easy-to-carry adapter for (2) batteries.

A DC OUT/CHARGE switch placed at the center of the control panel allows you to choose either supplying power from the batteries or charging the batteries. A Camera/USB selector enables switching between DC OUT destinations to let you choose to supply electrical power to either the camera body or other electronic devices connected via USB ports.

This battery adapter provides (3) threaded sockets on the top and bottom of the unit (a total of six sockets), allowing a flexible rig setup using a mounting plate and screws (not included).

² IMPORTANT NOTE: NP-FW50 W-series batteries cannot be charged with this battery adapter.

³ As charged electricity reaches more than 90% of the battery capacity, charge lamp turns off to indicate "normal charge". If charging continues for another approximately 160 minutes (in case of four batteries), battery power condition reaches “full charge” allowing even longer use.
