Core SWX CXV-FX9 V-Mount Plate for Sony PXW-FX9

The Core SWX CXV-FX9 V-Mount Plate mounts directly to the back of the Sony PXW-FX9 as an alternative power option to the Sony XDCA-FX9. The milled aluminum plate attaches to the battery slot and top of the camera (via included screw hardware), to provide a secure platform for mounting V-Mount (IDX-style) batteries directly to the FX9. The plate provides 19.5V DC output with a visual low battery warning LED and a 4-pin XLR DC input for hotswapping between external and onboard power.  In addition, it is equipped with (2) PowerTap ports and three 1/4"-20 threads on the top to support additional accessories. A USB firmware update port on the rear ensures future compatibility with camera firmware updates.

NOTE: BP-U30 or BP-U35 battery packs fit inside of the battery cavity on the camera, allowing the user to hotswap batteries. Once your V-Mount onboard battery is depleted, the plate will automatically pull power from the BP-U30 and you will see the battery source indication change in the viewfinder. To make it easier to take the CXA-FX9 plate on-and-off, M4-8mm thumbscrews can be purchased separately.
