The Anton/Bauer SO-XLR Gold Mount to XLR4 (Male) Adapter Plate converts any Gold Mount style battery plate to (1) Male XLR 4-pin connector.
This adapter is ideal for powering a camera lacking an XLR power input from a secondary source, such as a block battery or XLR 4-pin AC power supply, while retaining use of the P-Tap connector(s) on the camera's native Gold Mount plate (if present). An additional example would be powering the VRI Phantom Flex camera's side Gold Mount accessory plate via an XLR4 source.
NOTE: It is not possible to attach a battery to this plate (or the native camera Gold Mount battery plate) while it is in use.
